Heather joined Manchester Speculative Fiction in late 2023 after leaving a career in nursing to begin writing. She now divides her time between volunteering as an English language teacher and writing literary, memoir, and speculative fiction.
She has had one piece shortlisted for the Edinburgh True Flash Award 2025 which will appear in The Scottish Arts Trust Anthology 2025.
