M.O. Pirson

Biography

M.O. Pirson is a Belgo-Irish crossbreed, currently based in the Belgian countryside. He is a biologist by day and speculative fiction writer by night (and therefore a very tired person, generally speaking). He joined Manchester Speculative Fiction in 2016.

When he isn’t working or writing, he enjoys the occasional banjo lick and being bossed around by two tiny (and very cute) versions of himself.

Writing

His current writing projects include several stories that haven’t yet decided if they are short fiction or novellas, and a novel about a very sentient spider.

His urban horror story, Apis Damiansii, appeared in the MSF group’s 2019 anthology, Revolutions 2.
