Madelene joined Manchester Speculative Fiction in 2022. She has since received feedback on three of her novels and has enjoyed critiquing a wide range of speculative works within the group.
Madelene is seeking agent representation and publication for The Grand Brikkan Brew Off, a cosy Adult fantasy in which a retired YA hero and a farmboy hiding his princely heritage come head-to-head in a potion brewing competition.
